As the story progresses, Arun Katyal, a proud son, vows to continue his father Ronit Roy’s (special task force) heritage through Yodha. But under inexplicable circumstances, he finds himself aboard a hijacked flight following his failure at a crucial operation. The action scenes in Yodha are indeed stunning, but the storyline falls flat. The main conflict of the hijacking plays out somewhat predictably and without the element of tension and surprise that makes an excellent thriller stand out. A further flaw in the story is the lack of development of the supporting cast. Despite having a strong emotional part, Raashi Khanna doesn’t have enough screen time to make an impact. Similarly, the villains, whose intentions are still a little unclear, follow suit.
