The narrative is set in Istanbul, where Meenakshi runs a restaurant specializing in Rayalaseema Cuisine. She lives with her son Jai Simha Reddy, who owns a car dealership. One day, a situation at his dealership introduces Jai to Isha, an aspiring singer with a unique quality of tone-deafness. Their paths cross, and a romantic connection blooms. Jai’s pursuit of proposing marriage to Isha leads him to her affluent father, Jayaram. Amidst these discussions, Meenakshi reveals the backstory of Jai’s father, Veera Simha Reddy, a notable figure in Pulicherla, Andhra Pradesh, known for his efforts to quell factionalism.
Veera Simha Reddy serves as a mediator, committed to ending factional conflicts. His primary adversary is Pratap Reddy, a faction leader driven by villainous intentions. Despite Pratap Reddy’s numerous attempts, Veera Simha Reddy remains resilient, much to the frustration of Pratap Reddy’s wife, Bhanumati, who seeks vengeance. The story takes a significant twist when Pratap Reddy hatches a plan to destroy a factory established by industrialist Raj Gopal, a venture initially initiated by Veera Simha Reddy to generate employment in the region. This sinister plan receives support from Pratap Reddy’s uncle, Peddi Reddy, a minister. Their scheme involves a gathering of influential politicians for the foundation stone laying ceremony of a new factory.
Raj Gopal, a supporter of Veera Simha Reddy, intervenes to thwart this malevolent plan. Veera Simha Reddy courageously intercepts their convoy, single-handedly foiling their scheme.
Following a call from Meenakshi, Veera Simha Reddy travels to Turkey, where he reunites with his son Jai, oblivious to their familial connection. Expressing gratitude for Meenakshi’s past choices, Veera Simha Reddy embraces Jai and Isha’s union during a meeting with Jayaram. However, this reunion takes a tragic turn as Jayaram alerts Pratap Reddy about Veera Simha Reddy’s presence in Turkey. A confrontation ensues, leading to a climactic showdown where Bhanumati, unveiled as Veera Simha Reddy’s sister, orchestrates his downfall.
In his final moments, Veera Simha Reddy urges Jai not to save him, expressing willingness to sacrifice himself for Bhanumati’s vendetta. He instructs Jai to conduct his last rites in their homeland. Jai honors his father’s wishes, performing the funeral in Rayalaseema. Subsequently, Jai delves into the history behind Bhanumati’s animosity towards her own brother, unveiling a tale of intricate emotions, family dynamics, and tragic occurrences. This revelation sheds light on the motivations driving Bhanumati’s actions, culminating in a poignant climax where Jai carries on his father’s legacy.
The film’s intricate plot, emotionally charged performances, and dynamic action sequences converge to deliver a cinematic experience that resonated strongly with both audiences and critics
